The initiatives include strategic investments in Belgium and Israel, alongside the development of next-generation braided medical devices.
Biorad Medisys Invests in Belgium’s Frid Mind Technologies for Stroke Prevention
Biorad Medisys has made a strategic investment in Frid Mind Technologies (FMT), a Belgium-based firm founded by Noureddine Frid.

FMT has pioneered a patented stroke-prevention device utilizing advanced braiding technology, which has successfully completed preclinical evaluations and two first-in-human trials, demonstrating positive long-term results.
This investment reinforces Biorad Medisys’ commitment to advancing early-stage stroke prevention solutions.
Stake Acquisition in Israel’s Motion Informatics to Boost Rehabilitation Portfolio
In another key move, Biorad Medisys has acquired a 10% stake in Motion Informatics Ltd. (formerly Stroke Rehab Ltd.), an Israel-based company specializing in stroke rehabilitation technologies.
Motion Informatics manufactures and markets Stimel-03, a US FDA-approved device that integrates Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), and Biofeedback technologies to aid patient recovery.
As part of the agreement, Biorad Medisys will hold exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights for Stimel-03 in select markets, including India and the United States, further strengthening its position in the global stroke rehabilitation segment.
